From a press release:
"The Exchange Hotel, formerly the Manhattan Seaport Suites, has been named an official Friend of the Festival sponsor and Travel Partner of the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival presented by American Express. The 53-room hotel has just completed extensive renovations, relaunching as the Exchange Hotel this April. The Exchange will provide accommodations to the festival participants as well as special rates to festival goers April 25-May 7, 2006.
Celebrities staying at the Exchange include Peter Krause of Six Feet Under and Richard Schiff of the West Wing. These actors are in town to promote their film, Civic Duty, by In Tandem Films."
From Entertainment Weekly:
"Crowd reaction [to "United 93"] was uniformly positive. People were probably too drained to say anything bad. Julia Stiles walked out and looked very, very pale. Steve Buscemi and Richard Schiff huddled in the corner, discussing the film in hushed tones. A ''humbled'' Paul Greengrass stood around embracing family members. Brushing aside the notion that the film comes too soon, he said, ''Remembering isn't easy. It's painful. But it can be inspiring and it can lead to wisdom.''
Come this weekend, we'll see whether America agrees."
