Attention: "West Wing" Not on NBC in Tennesee This Sunday

From WBIR:
"Sunday night's regular NBC Primetime programming will move across the dial this weekend to make room for the East Tennessee Children's Hospital Telethon.

Dateline NBC Sunday, The West Wing, Law & Order CI and Crossing Jordan will make a one night only appearance on Knoxville's newest channel WMAK. The final round of the Honda Open golf tournament will also be seen on that channel.

The East Tennessee Children's Hospital Telethon will air live from the hospital in Knoxville from 3 PM until 11:30 PM. It is a look at the facility, staff and patients of the one-of-a-kind regional hospital, with opportunities for viewers to support them with contributions.

The program is earlier in the year than ever before and will be much shorter, providing a unique challenge to the viewers if they hope to match last year's total.

7 WMAK signed on the air in July 2004 as a digital, high-definition television station in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an independent (non-network affiliated) TV station, 7 WMAK airs syndicated programs like The People's Court, and Judge Mathis as well as recent and classic movies.

7 WMAK's transmission tower is located on Sharps Ridge just north of downtown Knoxville, and the broadcast signal covers all of the East Tennessee viewing area.

In fact, 7 WMAK has one of the strongest digital television signals east of the Mississippi River.

WMAK is also on most cable systems in the area. Go to the link on the right to find out what channel they are on in your area."
