From an article from Forbes on a new movie download service from NBC/Universal:
"The movies become available 30 to 45 days after they have been released on DVD, and at the same time that they are available on cable video-on-demand services. And the service won't offer NBC Universal television programming beyond a handful of specials--although two of the company's offerings--My Name is Earl and West Wing--were among the top ten most frequently swapped shows on file-sharing networks this week, according to Internet measurement firm BigChampagne."
