From Variety comes the news that Tommy Schlamme is involved with a new show:
"At HBO, [Thomas] Kelly is developing the drama 'Night Watch,' about six cops who cover a quadrant of New York in the dark hours between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. -- when a lot of strange things happen.
Helmer/exec producer Thomas Schlamme ('The West Wing''The West Wing') is attached to the project, which Kelly calls a show not just about the police, but one revolving around the different people who populate New York at night.
Kelly also is behind the script 'One Police Plaza' at the Eye net (through Paramount Network TV). Drama was pitched as a 'West Wing' with cops, revolving less around specific crimes and more about the police force itself."
