The San Francisco Chronicle reports that viewers without cable or satellite could be able to receive NBC again starting next week.
"It was very frustrating," said Andrew Vert, 62, a designer who lives in San Francisco's Castro neighborhood. "All of a sudden, it happened one New Year's Eve. I liked 'Will and Grace' and 'West Wing' and Tom Brokaw's news. But it wasn't enough to warrant spending money on cable or satellite."
