Martin Sheen to Produce Comedy Based on His Life

"Sheen is set to executive produce a comedy loosely based on a situation that occurred in his extended family, wherein a straight man moves in with his gay older brother and his partner. All three men take care of the straight guy's mother-in-law, but in a "Three's Company"-style twist, they try to hide the gay couple's relationship from the woman, who's a fundamentalist Christian.

Brian Bird ("Evening Shade," "Touched by an Angel") will write the script and co-executive produce with Sheen, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Warner Bros. TV, which also produces "The West Wing," will produce."
