Martin Sheen Happy about Reunion

"Sheen and Richards — who filed for divorce in March — brought daughters Sam, 17 months, and Lola, 2 months, to help Martin, 65, belatedly celebrate his Aug. 3 birthday, says a friend of The West Wing star. "Martin couldn't have had a better birthday present than seeing Charlie and Denise together," the friend adds. "Martin was really broken up when the two split. He's very much a family man — he and his wife, Janet, have been married for more than 40 years — and he loves Denise like she was his own daughter. He'd be thrilled to see her and Charlie patch things up.""
